2023 Toyota Crown Coming Soon

The all-new 2023 Toyota Crown will be arriving in the Montréal region in a few weeks, including at Spinelli Toyota in Lachine! Although the Crown name was already used by Toyota back in the 70’s, the current model offers modern prevailing features as well as a choice between 2 hybrid engines.

Read on to learn more about this future hybrid sedan that will certainly be turning a lot of heads in its wake!

Prices and Versions

Toyota announced that the prices and versions of the 2023 Toyota Crown will be as follows when it will be launched on the market:

  • XLE: $45,590
  • Limited: $50,990
  • Platinum: $59,990

A Striking Design That Doesn’t Go Unnoticed

This Toyota hybrid has bold, striking lines, slightly larger dimensions than the Toyota Camry (it’s about 10 centimeters higher) and the following choice of body colors: Black, Oxygen White, Magnetic Grey, Heavy Metal and Supersonic Red.

And if you opt for the Platinum version, you can also choose a beautiful 2-tone paint. This consists of black on the hood, roof, rear trunk and door trim, combined with the following colors: Pearly Ice Shiver, Heavy Metal, Supersonic Red or Bronze Age. Finally, the 2023 Crown can be equipped with 19-inch or 21-inch wheels as standard, a first for a Toyota sedan.

Powerful and Fuel-Efficient Engines

Under its hood, the new Toyota Crown offers a choice of 2 engines. The XLE and Limited models are equipped with a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine as well as two electric motors; this combination, whose power has not been announced, will allow the Crown to achieve a remarkable fuel efficiency of 5.6/5.7 L/100 km city/highway.

The top version will feature the first-ever HYBRID MAX system, composed of a 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and electronic rear-wheel eAxle, with a high-output water-cooled electric motor, for a spectacular 340 net horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy for this version is 8.1/7.3 L/100 km, which is low considering its impressive horsepower.

In addition, all 2023 Toyota Crown models come standard with all-wheel drive, eCVT (XLE and Limited) or 6-speed Direct Shift (Platinum model).

A Spacious and Impressive Interior

The 2023 Toyota Crown interior is spacious and offers a high level of luxury for this class, not to mention exclusive color combinations like black, brown and macadamia. Numerous amenities, such as heated front seats with power fabric controls, heated and ventilated leather front seats, heated rear seats, dual-zone temperature control, LED ambient lighting and a fixed panoramic roof are available, depending on the version selected.

In addition, the seats have been designed to provide exceptional comfort for both front and rear passengers.

Technology and Safety Features

Unsurprisingly, the 2023 Toyota Crown has an impressive list of advanced on-board technologies and safety features, including:

  • Vertical wireless charging port
  • 11-speaker JBL premium audio system
  • Toyota multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen
